Thorn left his Tower, teleporting directly into the Pool Building. He took of his pale green shirt, tossing it on one of the chairs that was spaced throughout the room. His jeans were replaced with a pair of black swim shorts, and his footwear disappeared completely. As he reached the edge of the pool, he dived into it in a single fluid-like motion. As he reached the bottom, he opened his eyes. He stayed down there for a few moments as he looked around in the tranquility of the motionless water. He slowly began to allow himself to float back to the top. He exhaled lightly as his head floated above the water. He continued to breathe as he took in the area around him before finally closing his eyes once again and allowing himself to float around in the water.
He resisted the usual urge to heat up the water to temperatures that would easily burn humans, and that he had grown up loving. For once, he enjoyed the coolness that hung in the air around it. He closed himself off to the world around him, bringing his senses inwards to fully relax in the waters depths.
